The programme supports smaller organisations doing hands-on work in their communities, so we’re really happy to have been chosen as one of this year’s runners-up.

The funding will help us improve our allotment space and continue developing activities at the Hub, especially our 1-to-1 support. We’ve already started putting some of it to use with garden supplies and improvements around the allotment.

Last week, we also welcomed volunteers from Gallagher to the allotment, where they joined our volunteers in painting the sheds and helping refresh the space. It was a really positive day, full of teamwork and good energy, and the difference it’s made is easy to see.

A big thank you to Gallagher and to everyone who gave their time to help out. We really appreciate the support and are excited about what this will help us do next.
