Our shop on 96 Langlands Road is open to everyone and you can pay using cash or by using a Maslow’s voucher. You can self refer for a voucher at the counter, just ask one of our volunteers.
Vouchers and Referrals
You can make a self referral at Maslow’s Community Shop on 96 Langlands Road, Govan. If you are an asylum seeker or otherwise in need of clothing/household goods, please visit the shop, and one of our volunteers will register you, and give you a voucher. No-one is turned away, and we’ll do our best to provide you with what you need!
Each adult gets a £20 voucher that renews every month. For families we give out one voucher, but the value changes depending on the age and number of children. Once you have the voucher you can use the shop like any other shop, choosing what you would like and paying at the counter using the voucher. One of our volunteers will write your new balance on the voucher for next time, based on what you purchase.
If you are unable to get to the shop in person for any reason, please contact us and we will try to arrange an alternative solution.
Maslow’s Community Hub opened at the beginning of 2023 and has quickly become a welcoming space for people to connect, learn, and feel part of the community.
You’re warmly invited to join our free classes and support sessions, or simply pop in for a cuppa and a friendly chat. We run a variety of activities including English classes, an English book club, sewing and craft sessions, music classes, and much more.
Have a look at our timetable to see what’s on, or feel free to drop by during our opening hours — everyone is welcome. 😊
